Don Pepe Estate – Boquete, Panama
Located in the Volcancito area of Boquete , Don Pepe Estate is one of Panama's historic farms, founded in the 1890s. The mountain climate, high altitude and volcanic soils give the coffees here a clarity and finesse that are hard to mistake. The farm is run by generations of dedicated producers, with each batch being crafted with care and respect for the terroir.
Varieties – Caturra & Catuai
The combination of Caturra and Catuai brings a beautiful balance of sweetness, structure and flavor. They are two classic varieties for Panama, appreciated for their consistency and clean profiles, ideal for washed processing.
Processing – Washed
The washed method used at Don Pepe Estate emphasizes clarity and definition of flavors. The cherries are carefully selected, peeled and fermented in water, then slowly dried to preserve freshness and transparency of the taste. It is a processing that highlights the natural elegance of the origin.
