Francisca & Oscar Chacón – Costa Rica
Sourced from the renowned Las Lajas farm, one of the most respected in Costa Rica, this coffee is crafted by husband and wife Francisca and Oscar Chacón, pioneers of experimental processing and sustainable agriculture. Their farm is known for the meticulous attention they give to each batch and for the way they manage to combine tradition with innovation.
Processing – Washed
The washed method highlights the finesse and clarity of the beans grown in the hills of Alajuela. The cherries are carefully selected, cleaned in water, and then slowly dried. The result is a clean, balanced coffee with well-defined flavors.
Taste Profile
In the cup, this Costa Rica opens with sweet vanilla and chocolate notes, complemented by berry accents and a slight nutty nuance. It has a medium body, low acidity and high sweetness, making it an excellent choice for those looking for a friendly, round and very easy-drinking experience, both in filter and espresso.
