This Cañas Verdes region of Boquete is located in a humid and rainy microclimate, typical of the rainforest. The coffee farms are cultivated on the slopes of the Barú Volcano National Park, on fertile and deep soils of volcanic origin. |
They are rich in organic matter and have a good drainage system, with an average altitude of 1550 meters. At this altitude, the coffee trees grow in a suitable environment of temperature and humidity, in dense fog, creating the unique charm of Abu Coffee.
