The Konga Wete Webanchi washing station is a great example of specialty coffee production combined with supporting the local community. The station is built next to a school in the nearby town of Wete, and both Project Origin and Primrose Exporters work closely with the teachers and staff to provide them with the support they need to educate the children in the area. This way, they can improve the quality of life in this town, while also increasing the quality of the coffee beans at the washing station. That’s how specialty coffee should be, right?!
